Ingredients
(A)
300g
plain flour
20g
baking powder
20g
caster sugar
½
tsp. salt
1
tsp. grounded black pepper
(B)
60g
butter – cold & cut cubes
(C)
50g
spring onion – chopped
50g
white onion – chopped
(D)
250ml
milk
(E)
Cheddar
cheese
1
egg for brushing (lightly beat)
Method
1.
Mix ingredients (A) in the mixer bowl.
2.
Add (B). Using speed 2 and flat beater, mixed till resembles fine crumbs.
3.
Add (C) and mix till well combined.
4.
Add (D) little by little and lastly add cheese according you like.
5.
Roll into dough and roll out into 2.5cm thickens and cut into 2” round.
6.
Arrange on floured baking tray.
7.
Brush with egg wash.
8.
Bake @180°c for 18-20 minutes or till brown.
Note:
You
can use biscuit cutter as mould.
Serve
hot.
